Kellington Manor was built in 1892 as a gentleman’s country residence, the kind of old house that takes its character from its age rather than its decor. Sue and Andrew Papworth have run it since 2002, and their care for the place shows in every room. Come for a viewing and you’ll find them both there, ready to show you round.

The spaces
They work together or on their own, depending on your day.
The main event suite
Four full-length bifold doors onto the gardens, a private bottle bar, and completely yours for the day, with no other bookings alongside you. A hundred for the wedding breakfast, a hundred and twenty into the evening.
Ceremony & intimate events
Warmly furnished and full of character. Perfect for a smaller ceremony, pre-dinner drinks, or a quieter space for guests who need it. Up to fifty seated.
Al fresco
The suite opens straight onto the grounds, for outdoor photographs, a drinks reception, or letting the evening spill outside.
St Edmund’s Church is just a short walk from the manor, making it the perfect choice for couples who want to exchange their vows in a traditional setting before returning for their reception.

Yes. Hold an intimate civil ceremony in the Drawing Room for up to fifty, or marry the traditional way at St Edmund’s Church, three hundred metres up the lane, and come back to us for the reception.
We do, and they are a starting point rather than a ceiling. Each is a foundation, not a fixed order: add guests, upgrade the menu, adjust the drinks. The brochure lays out what each one includes and what it costs.
Other than your wedding cake, no. All the food and drink comes from our own kitchen and bar, cooked fresh on site and tailored to your tastes and any dietary needs.
Very. Dogs are welcome at the ceremony and right through the day, and plenty of our couples would not have it any other way.
