The campsite
A field, some quiet, and a proper breakfast nearby
Our paddock is home to a small, relaxed campsite. It is nothing fancy, and that’s exactly the charm. Just level grass, open skies and the manor a two-minute walk away whenever you fancy a drink or a Sunday roast. Perfect for a peaceful weekend, a stop on a longer journey, or somewhere to stay if you’re celebrating a wedding with us.
What to expect
The lay of the land

Caravans and campers
Room in our gated paddock for caravans and motorhomes, with electric hook-up points available.

Tents, too
Bring a tent and pitch up on the grass. It is a quiet, level field with big open skies above it.

Facilities on site
Toilet facilities on site, and the bar and kitchen a short stroll away for breakfast, Sunday lunch or a pint.

Dogs welcome
Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the site, on a lead and never far from a good walk.

The village on foot
St Edmund’s and the village are on the doorstep, an easy base for this quiet corner of Yorkshire.

We take camping bookings ourselves. Send us your dates and what you are bringing (caravan, camper or tent, and whether you need a hook-up), and we will sort you a pitch.
